UP UP and AWAY!!!

I hung out with Uncle Kyle and Auntie Joyce this evening. Uncle Kyle showed me how to fly like SUPERMAN!!!!! Faster than a speeding bullet!!!!
She's small and cute like me....
Uncle Kyle's hand is as big as my whole body.... but it's funny when he tickles me with it... watch out, here it comes!!!!
Earlier today I read an interesting article in my Mother Goose book. Did you know Jack sprat could eat no fat? I mean, how does he survive?
Last night, I had a surprise visit from my Pop-pop... he let me wear his hat. Do you think I could pass for 2 with this hat? Maybe if I wear this hat, Mom and Dad will let me stay up past 7:00pm.

Invasion of the Cousins!!! We had the pleasure of hosting the 1st annual spontaneous Silva-Pep Rally yesterday. Auntie Kate and Uncle Jim were in the area, the Burnley's stopped by, and Mimi, Pop-pop, and Alecia followed - topped with a sprinkling of Christopher, Jack, and Lauren. And they all wanted to help feed Benjamin... picuted is Lauren (the second youngest) feeding Benjamin (the youngest of the Silva-Adams clan).

Jordan taking special care of her 'lil buddy.
Peas -1 ; Benjamin - 0
We stopped by the YMCA to watch Cousin Christopher play basketball and ran in to none other than Mimi.
Benjamin's newest most favorite game: FORT!!!

Auntie Alana + Newport + Benjamin = A Whole Lot of FUN!
Benjamin + Jordan = Crazy, crazy. Do these two love eachother, or what?

Ma-ma and Da-da's little Valentine. The look on Benjamin's face is like, "I don't get it - Valentine's?" A piece of advice son, you'll never get it - just play along.
Da-da's little helper. Da-da asked Benjamin to hold this orange for him, and he did - for the entire time at the grocery store. I now dub thee, "Benjamin protector of the orange!"

"Rocky Balboa - Persistence". "You can do it Rock!"

"Queen of England - Wave"

"Just plain Bananas, over bananas":

All Business!

Benjamin got dressed in his tie this morning in an effort to add some professionalism to his three feedings a day. I mean, after all, this is my job man - eat, eat, eat, and sleep..... oh, and play.

Benjamin:
"The first diurnal board meeting is in session."
"Note-taker, what did we have for lunch yesterday?"

Note-taker (Dad):
"Turkey and rice, sir."

Benjamin:
"Hmmmmmmm, turkey and rice again. I see an unfortunate pattern here."
"Ice cream for everyone!"
"Meeting adjourned"

Benjamin's new pajamas say it all "My Mom Rocks".... Yes she does.

Benjamin received a gift from our good friend Joe Elias (Head Women's Ice Hockey Coach at St. George's) from his most recent trip to Shanghai China. It's a Rabbit, to celebrate the year of the rabbit. Gong Xi Fa Cai!
After several failed attempts, that ended in Mom or Dad reaching and and extracting a cheerio, cracker, pasta, etc from Benjamin's choking mouth, we've successfully chewed and swallowed a solid wagon wheel. "First day with a new mouth?"
Because of Benjamin's success with solid foods, he feels he's ready to move on to just about anything solid. "Dad, while I'm up getting myself some pickles, want me to make you a sandwich?"
A day in the life of a very mobile 8.5, going on 9, month-old.
